We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of strategic automation initiatives across a large-scale, business-critical real-time technology platform.
The role sits within a major Full Technology Replatform programme responsible for modernising the real-time market data platform, delivering a highly automated, resilient and cloud-enabled technology estate.
The successful candidate will coordinate multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring end-to-end delivery of automation capabilities that improve operational resilience, software delivery, platform observability and engineering efficiency.
The role requires close collaboration with architecture, engineering, product, infrastructure and cloud teams to deliver strategic technology outcomes using Agile methodologies and PI Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own planning, governance, risks, dependencies and delivery reporting.
- Ensure delivery aligns with programme objectives, engineering standards and business priorities.
- Lead automation initiatives across the engineering estate including CI/CD automation, release automation, operational automation, infrastructure automation, and service monitoring.
- Drive improvements that reduce manual intervention whilst increasing platform reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to track progress against business objectives.
- Lead Agile delivery practices including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Scrum of Scrums, dependency management, and release planning.
- Ensure delivery aligns with SAFe Agile principles.
- Own delivery management through Jira including Business Initiatives and Business Value Management.
- Support delivery using measurable business outcomes through operational performance metrics.
- Ensure initiatives deliver measurable value to both engineering teams and the wider business.
- Manage stakeholders, third-party suppliers, RAID management, dependency management, risk mitigation, and financial tracking where appropriate.
Required Experience:
- Market Data Experience within Financial Services or Capital Markets.
- Experience with Real-Time Market Data platforms or other low-latency, high-performance platform engineering experience.
- Strong Product Delivery Management experience.
- Experience within large-scale technology transformation programmes.
- Experience delivering platform automation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technology.
- Strong planning, governance and dependency management capability.
