Position Summary

Early Years/KS1 Teaching Assistant

Approx 30 hours per week

Term Time only plus 1 day, 44.12 weeks per year

Permanent

Monday to Friday (some flexibility re working hours)

Grade 5-6 dependent on qualifications/experience

£13.47-£14.58 per hour

£17,830 - £19,300

Qualifications

  • Qualified and experienced to work as a Teaching Assistant in Reception/Key Stage 1.
  • Highly skilled with relevant experience in Early Years/Primary Education.
  • Secure understanding of child development and phonics.
  • Possesses SEND skills and is a natural communicator with young children.
  • Strong communication skills, confident in supporting learning and behaviour, able to build warm nurturing relationships.
