Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) Band 5 Please note we have x1 position for Camden (NW5 4RA) and x2 positions for Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster (W1B 5NA). The post of Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) is a development post building on existing knowledge, skills and competencies to achieve a higher level of practice resulting in an academic qualification as well as a registerable qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. This is an opportunity for qualified NMC registered nurses to apply for the SCPHN course for School Nursing commencing in September 2025 at King\’s College London. This is a fully funded training opportunity to qualify as a registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) and is open to all registered qualified Nurses. You will be given a fixed term one year full-time contract to undertake a PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse course (School Nursing), find attached Job Description and Person Specification. The School Nursing Service in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster is an exciting and dynamic place to work due to our excellent partnership working with schools and other agencies.
