Person Specification
- Essential Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
- Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months.
- Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months.
- Excellent clinical skills, bio‑psycho‑social perspective, oral and written communication in English.
- Higher degree or qualification in medical education, clinical research or management.
- Additional clinical qualifications.
- MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Experience in Quality Improvement, management, membership of committee or regulatory body, CQC preparedness, contract/procurement knowledge.
- Evidence of achievement in education, research, audit and service improvement (awards, presentations, publications).
