We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Alternative Provision to deliver high-quality theoretical and practical instruction to our learners. This role involves teaching in both classroom and vocational environments, supporting students. We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a Lecturer in Alternative Provision to become a member of our newest curriculum area. We have two posts available, on a FTC until July 2027 split between Rhondda and Ystrad Mynach Campus.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical instruction to learners in both classroom and vocational environments.
- Support students in achieving their learning goals and developing applicable skills.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum area and assist in maintaining and enhancing the learner experience.
All staff are expected to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners and uphold Safer Recruitment processes. As part of safeguarding, all new starters must successfully complete the required pre-employment checks prior to commencing employment, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is a mandatory requirement.
