About the Role

The Employment Relations Lead is the college's principal operational expert on employee relations casework. The postholder will personally manage and directly support the most complex and sensitive cases across absence, probation, disciplinary, grievance, capability and mediation, working closely with managers and members of the College Management Team to deliver fair, lawful and consistent outcomes.

Oversight of all employee relations activity across the People and Culture team, ensuring quality, consistency and timeliness, and lead on the development, review and consultation of the college's HR policies. Provide trusted advice and guidance for managers and serve as a point of escalation for the People and Culture Business Partnering team.

Roles are campus-based to support teaching, learner experience and service delivery. Postholders may request flexible working, including limited remote working, through the College's Flexible Working Process. Requests are considered individually based on role needs and service coverage. Candidates or employees with accessibility or reasonable adjustment needs are encouraged to discuss these with the People & Culture team.
