Overview
As a Safeguarding Officer, you will provide effective support to the Head of Wellbeing and Safeguarding by taking a campus lead on the wellbeing and safeguarding of learners. You will maintain accurate records relating to wellbeing and safeguarding work undertaken. You will collaborate with curriculum and functional areas i.e. ALN staff in order to support work with learners. You will liaise with external agencies as an integral part of the role in order for learners to access the most effective support.
Responsibilities
- Take campus lead on the wellbeing and safeguarding of learners and provide effective support to the Head of Wellbeing and Safeguarding.
- Maintain accurate records relating to wellbeing and safeguarding work undertaken.
- Collaborate with curriculum and functional areas (e.g., ALN staff) to support work with learners.
- Liaise with external agencies as an integral part of the role to enable learners to access the most effective support.
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the College, at your principal place of work or other College premises, commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the role.
