About the Role
As an Engagement Coach, you will facilitate the delivery of on-line learning/assessment and support activities to develop E3 learners' skills in literacy, numeracy and digital literacy across the curriculum. You will identify, assess and support learners who are at risk of disengaging out of education and becoming NEET and help learners achieve their full potential by implementing individual support programmes that may include:
- academic support
- study strategies
- attendance support
- mentoring
- the development of social and employment skills
You will also assist learners with the transition into, through and out of college.
Further Information
Staff employed at Coleg Cymoedd will have responsibility for the safeguarding and for promoting the welfare of learners. Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the College, either at your principal place of work or other College premises, commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the role. It is recognised that duties and responsibilities of all posts may change from time to time and job descriptions may be amended in consultation with the post holder to reflect those changes which are commensurate with the role.
