Would you like to make a real difference to the lives of young people in Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, and the wider wellbeing of the communities? An interesting and exciting opportunity awaits you on the Coleg Sir Gâr/Coleg Ceredigion Board of Governors. The Board of Governors are seeking to appoint several new independent members, and co-opted members to the Audit and Risk Management Sub-Committee of the Board. We particularly welcome applications from those with a professional background in accountancy and audit; equality and diversity; Welsh language; education; in addition to other key areas listed in the person specification.

All independent members are expected to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • An appreciation of the value that the College brings to its communities within Wales.
