Coleg Gwent has an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting A-level learners at the Torfaen Learning Zone to reach their potential. The postholder will work closely with teaching staff to induct learners to the college and provide pastoral guidance and support to the learners throughout their journey so that they excel academically.

The postholder will support and proactively monitor targets for a caseload of learners in a pastoral role. This includes setting targets to ensure high attendance levels, good punctuality, academic progress, and positive attitudes towards learning, as well as referring to and ensuring that Independent Development Plans (IDPs) and additional support needs are secured and monitored.

The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
