Are you passionate about sport and committed to developing young athletes both on and off the pitch? Coleg Gwent's growing Sports team is looking for enthusiastic Netball Coaches to support our learners’ enrichment journey.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality netball coaching for a minimum of four hours per week.
- Plan and facilitate sessions that build skill, teamwork, and performance.
- Create a safe and inclusive training environment that complies with health and safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of accident, incident, and emergency procedures.
- Promote equality, fair play, and sportsmanship in all activities.
- Serve as a positive and professional role model for students and staff.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.
- Confident in the ability to inspire and engage learners through sport.
- Professional, friendly, and approachable in interactions with learners and staff.
- Committed to promoting well‑being, inclusion, and a love of sport.
- Basic Welsh‑language skills or willingness to undertake Welsh‑language training.
- Successful completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) if applicable.
