The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
The role will involve the delivery of Level 2 and 3 Music practical and theory modules. You will have experience in recording and be able to run both recording and rehearsal sessions using the studio equipment. The campus offers programmes at L2 through to Higher Education at L5 in Music and Music Technology. You will be expected to have relevant industry experience in Music. You should either hold or be working towards a teaching qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Pro‑active, positive and innovative delivery to students and contribute to a thriving department.
- Ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
- Teaching and delivering Level 2 and 3 modules, including music theory and practical sessions, with appropriate recording and studio management.
Qualifications:
- Relevant industry experience in Music.
- Holding or working towards a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to attain one within a specified period of time.
- Willingness to undertake Enhanced Disclosure checks and EWC registration as appropriate.
Additional Information:

Successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and EWC registration. Lecturing posts will require a teaching qualification or the willingness to attain one within a specified period; this will be a contractual requirement and EWC registration.
