Overview

We have been working with Welsh Government and other Further Education Colleges to develop processes to ensure we fulfil our legal obligations with regards to the Additional Learning Needs Educational Tribunal Act (ALNET).

The successful candidate will need to work independently, using their own initiative to collate information, draft suggested processes and create high quality resources. You will need to be confident in your understanding of writing IDPs so that you can advise and guide staff. There will be a need to work across the campuses and seek information from multiple departments within the college.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collate information and draft suggested processes for IDPs.
  • Create high quality resources and guidance related to IDPs and ALNET obligations.
  • Advise and guide staff on IDP writing and related processes.
  • Work across college campuses and liaise with multiple departments to gather information.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Confident understanding of writing IDPs and advising staff.
  • Willingness to work across campuses and coordinate with multiple departments.
