We are seeking a highly motivated lecturer to join our team in the School of Creative Arts.

The curriculum offer is wide ranging and covers all areas of Creative Arts from Art & Design, Fashion and Photography to Games Design, Media and Illustration.

You will have the skills and enthusiasm to deliver vocational qualifications across all levels and be an excellent team player.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active and innovative in their delivery to a range of learners who will add to the pastoral element of each course. Ideally you will have the vision to assist with developing the curriculum in line with local and national employer needs and developing innovative approaches to teaching, both classroom and blended learning. You will have strong links with industry and have experience of running live projects and briefs.

You will need to be appropriately qualified with a degree and hold teaching qualifications. You will be required to undertake a range of teaching activities, have excellent organisation skills and be able to lead and contribute effectively to team working.

The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable

Lecturing posts will require a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or the willingness to attain one with a specified period of time. This will be a requirement under your contract of employment and EWC registration.
