Overview

18.5 hours per week (Minimum) Fixed Term – 30/06/26. Must be available 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. We wish to appoint an inspiring Additional Support Assistant to help learners with additional learning needs to access the curriculum at Coleg Gwent.

Responsibilities

  • Support learners on a 1:1 basis, including providing personal care when needed.
  • Work with learners on a group basis, working closely with the curriculum and campus support teams to ensure the learners meet their full potential.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 2 standard with four GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above.
  • Experience of working with young people who have difficulties and/or disabilities.
