We are looking for a motivated and confident Finance Officer to join Coleg Gwent on a temporary contract. This role will support the finance team with all central finance functions, including debt management, preparing financial data, and maintaining finance records.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the finance team with central finance functions, such as debt management and preparing financial data.
  • Maintain accurate finance records to provide a clear picture of the College’s financial situation.
  • Ensure learners are charged the appropriate amounts for courses, trips, materials, and other requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of the Welsh language (or willingness to undertake training).
  • Successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • Ability to work flexibly and confidently in a dynamic environment.
