Coleg Cambria has a vacancy for a Lecturer in Business to deliver our Level 2 and Level 3, BTEC courses in Business at Yale. In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence of teaching Business, a proven track record of teaching learners at Level 3 or below, hold a PGCE and Level 4 qualification in a related subject as a minimum.
As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.
Essential Requirements:- Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
- You must be a qualified teacher and hold either a PGCE, Cert Ed or C&G 7407
- Experience of teaching Level 2 and Level 3, BTEC learners, and or GCSE Business
- The ability to promote and facilitate bilingual learning
- The ability to promote the Welsh language as a skill for employment
Welsh Language skills are an essential requirement for this role. Candidates will need to be at Level 3 and demonstrate a commitment to achieving fluency. Coleg Cambria are committed to supporting this development through a tailored professional development plan. A Welsh Language skills assessment will form part of the selection process to identify competence, confidence and suitability for a development plan.
