Salary: £33,596 - £51,932

We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Lecturer in Creative Arts to deliver across our AS and A-Level (A2) provision at our Yale 6th campus in Wrexham. To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant degree in a Creative Arts discipline, alongside proven teaching experience and demonstrated competence in lecturing Art. In addition, sound working knowledge and experience in delivering the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales (ASBW) qualification is essential.

As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom-based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and providing coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities, as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified to at least Level 6/Degree Level in a relevant specialist subject area
  • Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
  • Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
  • Competent digital literacy skills
  • Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
  • Welsh skills are essential for this specific post.
