Salary: £33,912 – £38,218
Responsibilities:
- The practitioner will assess the full range of qualifications within the relevant subject area in line with awarding organisation requirements.
- The successful candidate will hold Electrical Engineering industry experience and will manage a caseload of learners, undertake a Training Needs Analysis, facilitate enrollment in suitable courses, and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities.
- The practitioner will deliver underpinning knowledge sessions to learners either on a one-on-one basis or in a workshop format with a recommended maximum group size of eight participants.
Essential Requirements:
- A professionally relevant qualification at a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent.
- Possess or be willing to work towards an assessor qualification (TAQA).
- Possess or be willing to work towards a Quality Assurance qualification (currently 401 TAQA Unit).
- Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above.
- Possess or be willing to work towards a Digital Literacy Level 2 qualification.
- Experience of liaising and partnering with external managers in industry.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to the maintenance and development of quality standards within education.
- Competent in a range of digital technologies tools and applications, including Google and Microsoft products, proactive with new technologies and developments.
- Able to plan and manage own workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Welsh Language Skills:
