Job Summary
Technician in Construction (Deeside campus) Permanent, Full Time – Salary £26,582 - £27,120.
Responsibilities
Coleg Cambria have an opening for a Technician to join our dynamic Construction team at the Deeside campus. We are seeking candidates with extensive hands‑on experience in the construction industry, who are capable of performing day‑to‑day checks on facilities and resources, and ensuring regular housekeeping of workshops. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, organised working environment for both staff and students. In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will participate in relevant training activities and provide technical support as needed.
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a construction related trade.
- A Good Standard of Education at GCSE Level (or equivalent).
- A demonstrable breadth of experience within the construction industry.
- Extensive experience of maintaining large workshop equipment including regular maintenance.
- Previous experience of working with learners or apprentices is highly desirable.
Welsh Language
Welsh language skills are desirable. Applicants are welcome to submit an application in Welsh. An application submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
