Job Summary
Exceeding expectations through education, innovation and inspiration
Location: Deeside
Contract Type: Part time (0.6 FTE 22.2 hours per week), Fixed Term (Up to June 2027)
Pro Rata Salary: M1 £20,157.60 – UP3 £31,159.20
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‐quality teaching and learning in media across Level 2, 3 and 4 courses.
- Develop, deliver, and assess innovative and engaging teaching materials.
- Keep curriculum current and responsive to student needs.
- Motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Commit to student success and maintain a passion for teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements
- Teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
- Minimum Level 4 qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of current developments in media and methods for staying up to date
- Understanding of diverse learning needs and support strategies within the learning environment
- Welsh Language skills – essential; learners must be at Level 3 and demonstrate a commitment to achieving fluency. A Welsh language assessment will be part of the selection process.
