Job Summary

Exceeding expectations through education, innovation and inspiration

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Part time (0.6 FTE 22.2 hours per week), Fixed Term (Up to June 2027)

Pro Rata Salary: M1 £20,157.60 – UP3 £31,159.20

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‐quality teaching and learning in media across Level 2, 3 and 4 courses.
  • Develop, deliver, and assess innovative and engaging teaching materials.
  • Keep curriculum current and responsive to student needs.
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commit to student success and maintain a passion for teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

  • Teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
  • Minimum Level 4 qualification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current developments in media and methods for staying up to date
  • Understanding of diverse learning needs and support strategies within the learning environment
  • Welsh Language skills – essential; learners must be at Level 3 and demonstrate a commitment to achieving fluency. A Welsh language assessment will be part of the selection process.
