Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £33,596 to £51,932 - Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine

We are recruiting a Criminology Lecturer to lead and deliver A-level and Vocational Criminology at our Yale site. As with all A-level provision at Cambria, there will be a requirement to deliver the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales qualification also.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience and competence lecturing in Criminology, Social Sciences and educated to degree level.
  • Deliver both practical and classroom-based learning to our students.
  • Responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and providing coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of our students at all times.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to at least Level 6/Degree Level in a relevant specialist subject area.
  • Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407).
  • Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice.
  • Competent digital literacy skills.
  • Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques.

Desirable

  • Welsh skills are desirable for this specific post.
