Coleg Cambria is seeking a passionate and skilled Instructor Demonstrator in Bricklaying to join our team at the Deeside site. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering practical instruction and demonstrations to student groups, ensuring they develop essential skills and knowledge in a range of Bricklaying topics. You will work closely with course coordinators and lecturers to create a structured schedule of activities and support students in achieving their learning goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring student progress and assessing their competence in practical tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with student reviews and helping produce course results.
- Contributing to creating a caring and supportive learning environment.
- Maintaining professionalism, ensuring student discipline, and promoting attendance and punctuality.

- Able to support the planning and delivery of effective practical workshop sessions that enhance learning.
- Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching, learning and assessment.
- Demonstrate a good level of IT competence and willingness to learn new IT packages and systems.
- Able to deal promptly and effectively with inappropriate behaviour in the classroom or workshop environment.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and support learners with a range of practical abilities.
- Able to maintain a safe, clean and well-organised practical working environment.
