The predicted salary is between 29000 - 36000 £ per year.
We currently have a vacancy for a Work-based Learning Practitioner in the Land Based Team. The Practitioner will assess Levels 2-4 for the full range of qualifications in Horticulture, Trees & Timber and Environmental Conservation in line with Awarding organisation requirements linked to skills and competence.
Training Needs Analysis for learners, enrolment on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as delivery of underpinning knowledge sessions to learners either on a 1-1 or workshop basis (recommended maximum group size 8). To monitor learners’ progress towards qualifications, give them constructive feedback and guide them to prepare an e-portfolio of evidence. To assess learner portfolios and present completed portfolios for internal quality assurance.
Essential Requirements- A professionally relevant qualification at a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent
- Possess or work towards an assessor's qualification (TAQA)
- Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Proven industry experience within a professionally relevant area
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to the maintenance and development of quality standards within education
- Welsh language skills are desirable for this position
