The predicted salary is between 28900 - 32900 £ per year.
We currently have a vacancy for a self-motivated work based learning practitioner within our Engineering department. The practitioner will assess the full range of qualifications within the relevant subject area in line with Awarding organisation requirements linked to skills and occupational competence.
The successful candidate will also hold Electrical Engineering industry experience. The Practitioner will manage a caseload of learners and will undertake a Training Needs Analysis. They will facilitate enrollment in suitable courses and provide coaching, mentoring, and learning opportunities. Additionally, they will deliver underpinning knowledge sessions to learners either on a one-on-one basis or in a workshop format, with a recommended maximum group size of eight participants.
Essential Requirements- A professionally relevant qualification at minimum of Level 3 or equivalent
- Possess or be willing to work towards an assessors qualification (TAQA)
- Possess or be willing to work towards a Quality Assurance qualification (Currently 401 TAQA Unit)
- Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Possess or be willing to work towards a Digital Literacy Level 2 qualification
- Experience of liaising and partnering with external managers in industry
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to the maintenance and development of quality standards within education
- Competent in a range of digital technologies tools and applications, including Google and Microsoft products. Proactive with new technologies and developments
- Able to plan and manage own workload, ensuring deadlines are met
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Welsh language skills are desirable for this position
