We are now searching for a Lecturer in Health and Social Care to deliver our Health and Social Care courses from level 2 to level 3. In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence within Health, Social Care and hold the relevant teaching qualifications. The role also requires any candidates to be able to communicate (both written and verbal) through the medium of Welsh, and training can be provided to support this requirement.
As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.
Essential Requirements- Qualified to at least Level 4 in a relevant specialist subject area
- Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
- Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
- Competent digital literacy skills
- Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
- Welsh Language skills are an essential requirement for this role. Candidates must be able demonstrate Level 3 Welsh language skills. A Welsh Language skills assessment will form part of the selection process to identify competence, confidence and suitability for a development plan.
