Role Title: Lecturer

Location: Northop

Contract Type: Permanent: Hourly Paid

Salary: £28.87 – £44.62 per hour, based on a full-time annual salary of £32,304 – £49,934. Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine

We currently have a vacancy for an hourly paid lecturer to join our Business School premises at Northop. The post holder will be required to deliver our Human Resources CIPD level 3 and 5 courses along with other leadership and management programmes as required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver CIPD level 3 and 5 courses in Human Resources and other leadership and management programmes as required.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards a Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Educated to a minimum Level 6 qualification.
  • Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such development.
  • Knowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environment.
  • Ability to analyse and use key information to inform teaching and learning.

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
