Responsibilities
- Responsible for the installation of surfacing (playgrounds, parks, play areas and other outdoor sites) across the UK.
- Lead and work alongside a small team, supporting, training and developing team members to improve surfacing preparation, mixing, installation knowledge.
- Mark out and lay safety surfacing mixes, including wetpour, resin bound, shock pad, artificial grass and grass mats.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time and to set specification and quality standards.
- Collect materials from the depot, unload, store and take receipt on site.
- Manage the company van, tools, plant and equipment assigned to the role.
- Ensure safe transit of materials/vehicles on site.
- Maintain daily site housekeeping and record keeping, keeping the workplace tidy and clearing waste.
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing resin bound or wetpour surfacing solutions.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Good knowledge of surfacing materials and correct installation processes; full initial training provided.
- CSCS Card.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Reliable, hardworking, punctual with good communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience with groundworks to prepare or assess ground for surfacing installation.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse or at the depot when weather precludes installation.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away as required.
- Open to both directly employed and selfâemployed team leader arrangements.
