We are recruiting for a Home Carer / Home Care Assistant on behalf of a high-quality local home care provider who support a number of elderly clients living in Ledbury and the surrounding towns and villages to live an independent life in the comfort of their own homes by providing their care needs .
Duties of a Home Carer / Home Care Assistant will include:
- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day.
- Personal care.
- Administering medication.
- Assisting Clients with washing and dressing.
- Shopping.
- Housekeeping.
- Meal preparation.
- Taking Clients for appointments or outings.
Requirements
To be considered as a Home Carer / Home Care Assistant you will need:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or from working within the NHS for over one year.
- A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others.
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- To be living within a 10 mile radius of Ledbury.
Benefits
On offer for the successful Home Carer / Home Care Assistant is:
- A permanent part-time or full-time job (working hours of between 16 and 35 hours are available). Flexible working to fit around current commitments and/or children too.
- Set hourly rates Monday to Friday until 5pm of £13.00, Weekdays after 6pm this rises to £13.50 and at Weekends the hourly rate rises again to £14.50.
- Paid mileage – 45p per mile and paid travel time.
- Double pay for Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
- Blue light card.
