We are recruiting for a Chartered Landscape Architect on behalf of a leading Tier 1 Landscape Construction Contractor whose offices are in Slough. They have an enviable reputation for delivering high quality hard and soft landscaping projects which range in value from £100,000 to £10,000,000. On offer is a salary of up to £60,000 which is negotiable, hybrid working options and a company performance-based bonus scheme.
Our client is a leading name in the landscaping industry and delivers a comprehensive range of services to both developers and main contractors. They specialise in creating innovative and sustainable outdoor environments and their expertise includes complex hard landscaping, water features, irrigation systems, external lighting, street furniture, tree planting, and soft landscaping. They pride themselves on their highly skilled workforce and ability to offer a complete package which makes them a trusted partner and a key player within the industry. Recognised for their commitment to excellence, they are highly regarded by clients for consistently delivering high-quality, transformative projects.
As the Chartered Landscape Architect, you will need:
- Project Management: Proven professional experience within multi-disciplined offices or projects and possess strong technical skills showcased in a varied portfolio.
- Design and Creativity: To be creative while managing a variety of different projects and possess excellent organisational abilities.
- Diverse Project Experience: Demonstrable experience of working on a range of projects, from small-scale architecturally led schemes to large-scale and complex regeneration plans including overseeing projects ranging from concept design through to construction.
- Team Leadership: The ability to lead teams within the office, working constructively and collaboratively with other design disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Business Development: To contribute to the continued development of relationships with existing and new clients across public and private sectors.
Requirements:
- UK Chartered Landscape Architect status.
- A strong understanding of UK standards, requirements, and design processes.
- High-level verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, including freehand sketching and expertise in industry-standard software.
- A proactive approach to innovation and team progression.
- Experience in project delivery and knowledge of horticulture (desirable).
- Familiarity with local authority guidelines and planning systems.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- The flexibility to travel to London, the South, and the Midlands as needed.
