A well-established manufacturer is looking for a Product Marketing Lead to join its growing marketing team in Oswestry.

This Product Marketing Lead role is focused on product marketing strategy, go-to-market planning, product positioning, launch planning and product messaging.

It will suit someone who can bring commercial thinking, market insight and competitor insight into the way products are positioned, launched and communicated.

As Product Marketing Lead, you will help translate technical product features into clear customer and commercial value, working closely with Product, Sales and Customer Success teams to support how products are brought to market.

The role could suit someone already working as a Product Marketing Lead, Product Marketing Manager, Associate Product Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Executive, Technical Marketing Manager, B2B Marketing Manager or commercially focused Marketing Manager with strong product, launch, market insight or go-to-market experience.

As the Product Marketing Lead, you will

Own product marketing strategy and go-to-market planning across the product portfolio.

Develop product positioning, messaging frameworks and core narratives ahead of launches.

Bring market insight, competitor insight and customer understanding into product launch planning.

Guide sales enablement content, ensuring it reflects commercial priorities, customer value and market thinking.

Partner closely with Product teams to translate technical features into clear customer and commercial value.

Work closely with Product, Sales and Customer Success teams to support successful product launches and ongoing product marketing activity.

Represent product marketing in senior stakeholder conversations and leadership updates.

Identify opportunities for new product marketing practice as the team and portfolio grow.

The Product Marketing Lead candidate will need

  • Product marketing, go-to-market, product launch, technical marketing, product insight, market insight, competitor insight or strong B2B marketing experience.
  • Experience in a Product Marketing Manager, Associate Product Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Executive, Technical Marketing Manager, B2B Marketing Manager or commercially focused Marketing Manager role would be relevant.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to understand product positioning, market context, customer needs and customer value.
  • Experience developing or supporting positioning, messaging frameworks, core narratives, sales enablement content, launch content or product-focused marketing material.
  • Confidence translating technical product features into clear, practical and commercially useful messaging.
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, written communication and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with Product, Sales, Customer Success, senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under deadline and time pressure.
  • Strong IT confidence including Microsoft Office. Adobe Creative Cloud, Word Press, email marketing software, CRM and social scheduling tools would be useful.
  • A driving licence and the ability to commute reliably to Oswestry five days a week.

The Product Marketing Lead role is based in Oswestry and is office-based five days a week.

Candidates must be able to drive and have a realistic daily commute to Oswestry.

The five-days-per-week office requirement is non-negotiable.
