Permanent job paying to £32,708.00 per year + 21 Days Holiday (and Bank Holidays), overtime, pension, wider company benefits package (retail / leisure / holiday / gym discounts).
Specialising within the new build sector this job opportunity focuses on show homes and sales areas where a high level of soft and hard landscaping is needed.
As the Landscaping Team Leader you will be:
- Leading and working alongside a small team of landscapers installing soft and hard landscaping to a high standard which will include paving, slabs, small brick and block work, raised beds, fencing, decking, sleeper beds, garden structures, paths and edging, garden lighting, water features, ponds, turfing and planting.
- Ensuring work is completed to their high standards, recorded and reported back to the office.
- Ensuring that all vehicles and machinery are in good order and safe to operate.
- Making sure all tools and equipment used are well maintained, clean and serviceable.
- The point of contact for the client.
To be considered for this Landscaping Team Leader job opportunity you will need:
- Soft landscaping experience (ground prep, turfing, planting, mulching and barking).
- Hard landscaping experience (slabbing, decking, block paving etc.)
- Experience of leading and working alongside a small team of landscapers.
- A UK Driving Licence and your own transport to be able to get to the yard in the morning. (A company van is provided but kept at the depot overnight).
- To be able to read and follow design drawings and landscaping plans.
It would be useful if you had any of the following:
- CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS card.
- Experience of installing landscaping on new build housing developments.
