ABOUT THE ROLE

Cole Buxton offers internship opportunities for students currently studying for a BA in Fashion. Our placements provide a broad and valuable experience, enabling students to apply their skills in a professional environment and preparing them for future careers in the industry.

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated student with a genuine enthusiasm for design to join our team. As a Design Intern, you will support the Design Team across all product categories, gaining hands-on experience in the creation and development of collections from concept through to final product.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Assist with creative research
  • Create CAD colour-ups using Photoshop/Procreate
  • Update design boards and decks
  • Assist in fittings, working alongside both Design and Product Development team
  • Support the preparation of Design Meetings (including steaming products, organising colour cards, boards, and room set-up)
  • Maintain and update the library of raw materials (trims, leathers, hardware, colour cards) to ensure easy access for the team
  • Support the team in the preparation of fittings, shoots, and showroom presentations
  • Assist with the preparation, packing, and shipping of samples, liaising with factories and suppliers

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Strong knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator (essential)
  • Sewing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to share information effectively with internal and external teams
  • Flexible attitude and commitment to completing tasks to a high standard

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (10:00–18:00)

Duration: 6 months

Location: London studio (with occasional travel for shoots, fabric sourcing, and other tasks)
