Cole Beauty Ltd is a fast‐growing global beauty business, home to Grace Cole, Boutique, The Retreat England and The Luxury Bathing Co. Female‐founded and headquartered in Cheadle, South Manchester, we sell in over 50 countries and we are growing fast. We build brands that earn loyal customers, not just impressions. Our products sit at the intersection of beautiful design, fragrance‐led experience and genuine commercial performance. We are ambitious, agile and entrepreneurial, and we want people who thrive in that environment.
This is a role for someone who is organised, detail‐oriented and genuinely excited about getting stuck into the day‐to‐day work of building great brands. As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will work across a portfolio of personal care brands with real ownership of projects from the start. This is not a support role in the traditional sense. Once you are up to speed, you will be planning and scheduling social media content, running email and CRM campaigns, coordinating launches, briefing agencies and keeping multiple workstreams moving at the same time.
The candidate we are looking for takes pride in doing things properly. You notice when something is off, you follow things through to completion and you do not let details slip. You are comfortable managing a busy workload under pressure, juggling competing deadlines without losing your grip on the detail, and communicating clearly across teams when things are moving fast.
You will need to be comfortable with social media and email marketing as core parts of your job, not occasional extras. Experience with Klaviyo or a similar CRM platform is a real advantage. We are not looking for someone who has dabbled; we want someone who has used these channels and is ready to own them.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support brand strategy and product launches
- Work with Brand Managers to plan and deliver seasonal and core product launches from concept to shelf
- Help coordinate activity across internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track and on time
- Own defined workstreams and be accountable for seeing them through
- Execute marketing campaigns
- Brief and manage activity across digital, social, PR and retail activation
- Plan and manage email and CRM campaigns, including building and scheduling in Klaviyo or similar platforms
- Plan, create and schedule social media content across key brand channels
- Ensure campaigns go live on time, on budget and to the right standard
- Manage multiple projects
- Liaise with the design team, purchasing and external suppliers to deliver work on brief and on schedule
- Maintain clear timelines and flag any risks early
- Be the person on the team who always knows where things are up to
- Stay calm and focused when multiple deadlines land at once, and know how to prioritise without being told
- Track performance and monitor the market
- Pull together campaign and sales data to help inform brand decisions
- Monitor competitor activity, category trends and consumer behaviour
- Summarise findings clearly and bring useful insights to the team
- Champion brand consistency
- Check that messaging, visuals and tone of voice are consistent across all touchpoints
- Review assets and copy with a critical eye before they go out
- Raise issues when something does not look or feel right for the brand
What We Are Looking For
- 2 to 3 years of brand or marketing experience, ideally in beauty, personal care or a similar consumer category
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, keeping standards high and deadlines met even when competing priorities stack up
- Excellent attention to detail, in written copy, visual assets and project timelines
- Hands‐on experience running social media content, including planning, creating and scheduling across platforms
- Experience managing email marketing campaigns end to end; Klaviyo experience is a strong advantage
- Comfortable working with data and confident enough to interpret it and present it clearly
- A good eye for design and a feel for what looks right across different channels and formats
- A natural communicator who can hold their own in cross‐functional conversations
You probably also:
- Are the kind of person who writes things down, follows up and does not leave loose ends
- Notice small errors that other people miss
- Enjoy being part of a close‐knit team and are happy to help out wherever it is needed
- Are genuinely interested in beauty, fragrance and emerging trends in the category
- Want to grow into a Brand Manager role over time and are looking for a place where that is a realistic path
