We're growing our team at Coldr and looking for an entrepreneurial Health and Social Impact Consultant with a strong desire to disrupt the status quo, delivering impactful campaigns and communications that are remembered.

About You

Coldr seeks a sharp, results-driven consultant who's a powerful storyteller and a natural project leader. You can translate complex health, policy, and technical issues into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with both corporate audiences and communities. With an understanding of the health landscape and the nuances of working across systems, you build culturally relevant communications that foster trust and engagement. You can juggle multiple workstreams and keep projects on track with clarity and precision. Resourceful and solutions-oriented, you bring order to chaos, communicate effortlessly across teams, and stay calm under pressure. You spot risks early, make smart decisions, and follow through - a finisher who blends big-picture thinking with meticulous execution to deliver truly impactful work.

Hybrid Working

This is a hybrid role, with team members working in our West London offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities

  • STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS & LEADERSHIP
    • Clear communicator – written, verbal, and visual
    • Able to provide strategic counsel and advisory input across projects
    • Skilled at translating complex health, policy and social impact issues into accessible, engaging narratives for diverse audiences
    • Comfortable navigating sensitive topics and working across corporate, community and public sector stakeholders
    • Support on brand positioning, corporate profiling and reputation management
    • Issues management experience is ideal, but not essential
  • MEDIA RELATIONS
    • Confidently build and manage relationships with journalists both reactively and proactively
    • Draft and distribute well-crafted press releases with minimal input
    • Confidently pitch stories to national, trade and specialist media, including health and social affairs outlets where appropriate
  • PROJECT AND EVENT MANAGEMENT
    • Serve as the owner and primary contact for specific projects
    • Develop project scopes, objectives, success metrics, and timelines, including milestones
    • Own tasks independently, ensuring timely and quality delivery
    • Lead planning and check-in meetings as needed
    • Contribute to and assist the team with daily project management tasks, including community engagement, coordinating and facilitating shoots and content production, including logistics, scheduling, contributor support, and on-the-day management
    • Lead on event coordination and facilitation, managing end-to-end logistics, speaker prep, attendee engagement, and smooth on-the-day execution
    • Guarantee timely, high-quality client reporting and clear information delivery
    • Adjust scope, priorities, or timelines based on changing needs
    • Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency
    • Lead community engagement activities, ensuring diverse voices are represented and reflected in project delivery
  • STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS
    • Provide clear, consistent updates to leadership and team members
    • Build trusted relationships across corporate, public sector, community and third-sector organisations
    • Engage confidently with experts, clinicians, academics and individuals with lived experience where required
    • Gather feedback from stakeholders and adjust project plans accordingly
  • RISK MANAGEMENT & PROBLEM-SOLVING
    • Anticipate bottlenecks before they happen
    • Develop mitigation plans and escalate issues when necessary
  • ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS
    • Excellent time management
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tracks at once
  • SOCIAL MEDIA
    • A flair for storytelling across social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram, ensuring brand voice is consistent, engaging and distinctive across platforms
  • TEAM COLLABORATION
    • Collaborate with the senior leadership team and oversee account executives and interns
  • INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
    • Stay up to date with developments across health, social impact and policy, alongside communications best practice and emerging tech
    • Identify opportunities to connect societal trends with client priorities.
    • Represent Coldr at industry events and conferences

Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working across health, social impact, public sector or purpose-led sectors is highly desirable
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical or policy issues to a range of audiences
  • Strong organisational and client interaction skills while fostering teamwork
  • Passion for creativity, innovation, and a natural problem-solver
  • Ability to manage up and work closely with all team members
  • Exhibit excellent project management skills

Salary

£38k - 47k, dependent on experience
