We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer or a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Working on systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, cold rooms, all aspects of refrigeration inc. CO2 and air handling units
- Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety and F-Gas regulations
- Completing job reports and service documentation accurately
- Providing a high level of customer service and professionalism on-site
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Participating in an on-call rota (if required)
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning Engineer
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential)
- Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to fault-find and problem-solve effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workload efficiently
