We are a third-party logistics and distribution organization. We store and distribute fresh and frozen perishable goods on behalf of various food production companies. We provide our clients with a range of reliable storage options coupled with warm, friendly service that goes above and beyond the competition.

The Warehouse Worker reports to the Shift Supervisor. They must manage a work routine that balances equipment, capabilities, customer specifications and quality control standards. We recognize that our employees are critical to the success of this area.

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedural documents
  • Basic math and computer skills; able to complete accurate, legible paperwork and shipping/receiving logs
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, including inventory counts and documentation
  • Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Effective communicator; able to work closely with Leads and Supervisors to identify issues, recommend solutions, and maintain workflow
  • High regard for safety; observe all policies, wear appropriate PPE, and report incidents or damages immediately
  • Mobile Equipment Certification; able to safely operate power jacks and counterbalanced rider trucks, and complete daily equipment inspections
  • Capable of loading/unloading trailers by hand or equipment, staging shipments, wrapping pallets, and transporting product to storage areas
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition (including taking photos as needed)
  • Comfortable working in cooler/freezer environments for extended periods and lifting 25–30 kg as required
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform general warehouse functions as needed
  • Motivated, proactive, and willing to assist in other areas during downtime; well-organized and able to multitask
Description of work conditions:
  • Temperatures between -2°c and 4°c (on dock)
  • Temperatures between -20°c and -35°c with some wind chill when the fans are running (when going in and out of freezer)
  • Can be a very congested and fast-paced environment
