We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar & Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team, working matchdays and events. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, whether behind the bar or on the floor, while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. This role requires excellent time management skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, deliver meals and beverages promptly, and check back to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, service stations, and dining areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are well-stocked and operational.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Assist in managing stock levels and restocking items as required.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, fostering repeat business through excellent service.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar colleagues to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bar work, waiting, or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
