Job Title: Matchday Assistant
Reporting to: Ticketing and Retail Operations Manager
Location: JobServe Community Stadium, Colchester

Job Description:

Colchester United prides itself on providing all supporters with a first class match day experience and are looking to recruit enthusiastic, outgoing staff to be part of an already successful team.
Reporting to the Ticketing and Retail Operations Manager, the main interaction will be assisting both home and away fans and working in the Club Shop. The role involves being first point of contact, to welcome and assist customers to make the purchase that is most suitable to them. Operating our self serve ticketing machine and restocking the shop floor.
Gaining knowledge and understanding of products available to customers are crucial.
The work will be can be challenging and the ability to work quickly and efficiently within the vibrant environment will be essential.
Personal Specification:

  • A team player with a positive, can do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent IT skills.
  • Dedicated to offering first class service to all customers.
  • Able to work under pressure in a short busy time.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Applicants must be over 16 years of age.

Hours of Work:
Home matchdays (usually Saturday daytime and Tuesday evenings). Will include some bank holidays. 3 hours prior to kick off.
Salary:

National minimum wage depending on age.
