Job Title:

First Team Performance & Opposition Analyst.

Based at:
Florence Park, Tiptree, Essex, CO5 0UH.

Report to:
Head Coach.

Salary:
£32,500 per year (on target earnings).

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of first team video analysis.
  • Film all First Team training sessions and matches and provide live insights.
  • Manage online content for players and staff to review.
  • Produce team meetings, individual player & team clips for post-match review.
  • Produce detailed pre-match opposition analysis using data and tactical insights.
  • Support player recruitment process through individual video based player reports.

Experience/Skills requirements:

  • Experience filming matches in wide angle using Focus software.
  • Experience in using MatchTracker for pre and post match analysis.
  • Experience of using Hudl & Hub applications for sharing content.
  • Experience in carrying out tactical and data pre match analysis.
  • Experience in using Wyscout to make video playlists and draw insights from data.
  • Competent football tactical knowledge and ability to communicate with senior coaches.
  • Experience working in a First Team or U21 environment (ideally League 2).
  • Strong work ethic and professional approach to work.
  • Proficient IT Skills and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn & develop as a practitioner within elite sport.

Education:

Minimum

  • Undergraduate degree relating to the field of Sports Science, Coaching and Performance Analysis.
  • 2+ years experience in a professional football environment

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualification in Sports Science, Coaching or Performance Analysis
  • FA Level 2 coaching license or above
  • Driving License
