Professional Coach – Junior Animator
Location: Colchester
Employment Type: Self-Employed – 0-6 hours per week
This is an associate post, and the associate will be expected to send invoices for payment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Colchester Institute as a Self-Employed Professional Coach – Junior Animator.
About the role
You will train, coach, mentor, and assess apprentices in interactive media and immersive reality, including the creation and evaluation of animated assets for use in computer games, interactive media, or immersive reality, ensuring requirements are met based on feedback. You will also be a confident user of AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, VRAY, and Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate a background, either academically or technically, in their chosen field and ideally have current or recent experience in the sector. Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and experience working with diverse groups of learners are essential. Excellent communication and high-level organizational skills are required.
