We are looking for talented and energetic Hourly Paid Teachers to join our thriving Art and Design department, delivering engaging teaching across a range of pathways on our Level 3 Creative Practice programmes.
Job Title: Hourly Paid Teacher in Art and Design
About the Role:
- Strong subject knowledge and hands-on technical skills
- Experience in delivering structured, engaging teaching sessions
- A supportive approach that helps students develop both creatively and personally
- Enthusiasm, innovation, and a collaborative mindset
Essential Qualifications:
- Education to degree level or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification / completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course.
Essential Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of strong teaching skills and an understanding of pedagogical approaches in art and design
- Experience of teaching Art & Design students on Further Education programmes or equivalent
