We are seeking a Apprenticeship Industry Development Coach - Operational Firefighter Level 3 to join our team. In this role you will support the progress of apprentices in the workplace by providing coaching and guidance, while liaising closely with ECFRS and the Colchester Institute Off-the-Job Training Lead to ensure apprentices remain on track and successfully complete all requirements of their apprenticeship within the required timescales. Job title: Apprenticeship Industry Development Coach - Operational Firefighter Level 3 10 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year Hourly Paid, Part Time Colchester Campus About the role: Liaise with the employer, apprentice and college staff to ensure apprentices fully understand the learning requirements of their apprenticeship in regard to knowledge, skills and behaviours, functional skills and end point assessment To carry out apprenticeship sign ups, completing administration tasks and providing IAG to watch managers and new apprentices Liaise with Colchester Institute delivery teams to ensure high levels of professionalism and quality assurance are developed and maintained throughout the whole apprenticeship journey Carry out 10-week review of progress with apprentices and employers to monitor progress against key milestones and the off the job training as outlined in the apprenticeship training plan During all aspects of apprenticeship meetings with both the apprentice and the ECFRS personnel, seek opportunities to raise awareness of safeguarding, prevent, equality
