As a Technician, you'll be supporting the curriculum delivery in Hospitality across Kitchens and Restaurant. You will ensure that everything is up to a safe operational state and prepare all class related materials efficiently and effectively. You will also be keeping track of stock and maintaining them to make sure that all relevant courses run smoothly.
In this role, you will:
- Support teachers and students with the curriculum
- Prepare all relevant materials
- Maintain all Kitchens equipment and report anything to the technician supervisor where needed
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations
- Keep stock at a reasonable level and reorder from suppliers where needed
- Maintain and clean kitchens
Essential Qualifications:
- Education to level 2 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications:
- Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
Essential Experience:
- Practical industrial experience within a commercial kitchen/catering trade
- Experience with working effectively as part of a team
- Awareness of Health & Safety at Work and related issues
- Good experience in using ILT skills
