We are seeking an Hourly Lecturer in Foundation & Supported Learning to join our team. In this role you will teach broadly across the Area - including on our STEPS programmes. It will involve teaching across the curriculum - including English and/or maths.
Up to 23 hours a week, Braintree and Colchester Campus.
About the role:
- Conduct teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of individual students, courses and the curriculum, keeping attendance records and maintaining student discipline.
- Support curriculum development in line with quality and statutory requirements (this includes the development of learning plans, resources, assessment materials and assignment briefs).
- Counsel and guide students in respect of their academic progress and, as appropriate, their pastoral concerns and needs and making referrals to specialist services as appropriate; contributing to student reports and references as required.
- Maintain high expectations.
