About the Role:
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Science
- Passionate about teaching the next generation Chemistry, Physics, Biology and a range of Forensic Science topics
- Supporting students to make outstanding progress toward their qualifications
- Contributing to college-wide quality assurance processes
- Inspiring learners and helping them unlock their full potential
- Supporting leadership with pastoral, administrative and curriculum development
Essential Qualifications:
- Education to degree level or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification / completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course
Essential Experience:
- Experience of teaching Applied Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Forensic Science provision.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Able to demonstrate experience of working with learners with a wide range of needs.
