We are seeking a Work Related and Placement Learning Managerto join our team. In this role you willcoordinate work-related activity across the College, including work experience, T Level industry placements and other employer-led learning, ensuring all learners and employers benefit from a consistent, high-quality and compliant experience.

You will develop and manage College-wide policies, processes and quality standards, monitor compliance and report on quality. You will also lead the T Level Employer Working Groups and coordinate the development of high-quality industry placements.

Working collaboratively with curriculum leaders, business support teams and external partners, you will build strong employer partnerships, enhance learner experiences and support the development of an employer-informed, skills-focused curriculum aligned with local, regional and national priorities.

About the role:

• Design and maintain a College-wide framework for all work-related activity, setting clear processes, responsibilities and quality standards.

• Develop and review all policies and procedures for work-related activity, in line with DfE requirements and funding rules.
• Coordinate work-related activity across all curriculum areas, ensuring every learner has meaningful experience of work and planned hours are achieved.
• Ensure a consistent learner experience of work-related activity, regardless of programme of study.
• Work with Inclusive Learning Support and curriculum teams to make work-related activity accessible to all learners.
• Ensure a consistent, professional experience for all employers involved in work-related activity.
• Secure and develop employer capacity for work experience and T Level industry placements, referring wider opportunities to the relevant College teams.

Essential Experience:

• Experience of employer engagement, business development or partnership working within education, training or industry.
• Experience of developing and maintaining effective employer or stakeholder relationships, including engagement with senior-level contacts.

• Experience of working within education, skills, training or workforce development.

• Experience of coordinating projects, partnerships or cross-organisational initiatives

• Experience of supporting industry placements, work experience, T Levels or employer-led learning activities.

• Experience of working collaboratively with curriculum teams and external stakeholders.

• Experience of producing and using performance information to monitor progress against targets and identify areas for action.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent.
• Educated to Level 3 or equivalent professional experience in employer engagement, business development, account management, education, or a related field.
