Colchester Borough Homes is looking for an enthusiastic and performance focussed Team Leader. This role will lead a team who provide a professional service to older people living within sheltered housing. You will be proactive and sensitive in your approach to all aspects of operational support. You will maintain and develop links with both voluntary and professional support services to encourage additional support for tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, appraise, and develop a team.
  • Customer focused with experience in working for a housing organisation.
  • Responsible for the delivery of comprehensive tenancy management.
  • To lead and monitor all safeguarding responsibilities for Sheltered Housing Services.
  • Monitor service provision including facilities management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of working with support agencies and older people.
