Colchester Academy is a thriving secondary school, looking to appoint a positive, resilient and enthusiastic SEMH Learning Support Assistant (Interventions) to join our dedicated Learning Support Team. The successful candidate will have experience of supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The role will involve working inside and outside of the classroom environment, delivering structured outdoor learning experiences designed to boost engagement, develop confidence and support the emotional wellbeing of young people with SEMH.
Colchester Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school situated in Colchester, Essex. The school first opened in September 2010 and boasts a state of the art building with modern design and a wealth of technology. We are part of a small local Academy Chain, Penrose Learning Trust.
