As Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, welcoming and well-presented environment for our residents, visitors and colleagues. You will be responsible for completing regular cleaning duties across the development, ensuring all allocated areas are maintained to a consistently high standard.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can manage their responsibilities effectively while working as part of the wider site team.

Working Pattern: 30 hours per week / 6 hours per day (Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sun)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas, facilities and shared spaces
  • Clean and sanitise floors, surfaces, washrooms and other allocated areas
  • Complete scheduled and additional cleaning tasks efficiently and within required timescales
  • Ensure entrances, corridors and high-traffic areas remain clean, tidy and welcoming
  • Dispose of waste safely and appropriately
  • Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely, following all health and safety procedures
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements, hazards, damage or maintenance concerns
  • Work collaboratively with the site team and remain friendly and professional around residents, visitors and contractors

About You:

  • Desirable:
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience within a residential, hospitality, student accommodation or similar environment
  • Experience of working within an occupied building
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and safe working practices
  • Awareness of COSHH and general health and safety requirements
  • Essential:
  • A reliable and punctual approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Ability to complete physical and practical cleaning duties
  • Ability to work independently and manage allocated tasks effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and respectful approach when working around residents and visitors
  • Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures
  • Availability to work the advertised five-day working pattern
